Our 3 bedroom holiday apartment in the French Alps
Accommodation and facilities
The apartment comprises:
· large entrance hall

· large (46m2) open-plan kitchen-living-dining-room

The large dining
table seats 6 with ease, and comfy leather sofas provide ample space to lounge
in front of the 47” TV and PS3 (which doubles as the Bluray/DVD player). We
have free wifi and a Netflix account. The kitchen includes electric oven and
hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, as well as a washing machine and
dishwasher. The bathroom comprises a bath with shower over, and a basin with
vanity unit. There is a separate WC. The bedrooms are arranged as a king, a double
and a triple/bunk room. We can also provide a travel cot for infants/toddlers.
The storage rack in the large hallway (inside the apartment - not in the
communal lobby) provides a secure indoor place to keep bicycles, or you can
hire bikes from one of the many local bike shops.
Le Bourg d’Oisans
About 45min drive from Grenoble, Le Bourg
d’Oisans lies in the heart of the French Alps, so it is no surprise that the
town is an ideal location for cycling holidays as there are many famous climbs
that should be on every cyclist’s “bucket list”(Alpe d’Huez, Col du Glandon,
Col du Lautaret and the Col du Galibier) and the Tour de France visits
more-or-less every other year. There are
also plenty of less well known routes as well, including climbs to La Berarde, Villard
Notre Dame, Col d’Ornon and the Col de Sarenne.
Le Bourg d’Oisans is also situated at the edge of the Ecrins national
park, so there are amazing walks at low and high altitudes, and alpine
mountaineering for those so inclined.
Location
Our 1st floor apartment lies on Rue General de Gaulle - a pedestrianised street right in the centre of Bourg d'Oisans, with lots of free public parking adjacent and nearby. All local amenities are within a short walk:

Booking
Please check the calendar and price list below (the prices are all-inclusive of towels/linens/cleaning etc). If you want to book, send me an e-mail enquiry first (stuart_lemanski (at) hotmail.com) to confirm dates and details and get a personalised quote (e.g. there is a discount for bookings of two consecutive weeks). If you have a non-standard request (e.g. short stays, extra days, non-standard changeover day), please get in touch and we will try to accommodate you!
Payment of 25% within 7 days of booking confirms the reservation, with the balance due 3 months before the date on which the holiday is due to commence. We have a more relaxed amendment policy than most, just let us know and we will always try to help if you have to change your plans.
We do require a £250 damage deposit (which is equal to the excess on our home insurance), but you can send a cheque and we will not cash it unless we need to deduct anything for damages.
