MISSION
To create a conducive environment for women and youth to develop
and operate their indigenous
entrepreneurial skills to create sustainable jobs and wealth.
VISION
To develop an integrated comprehensive programmes and strategies
aimed at Poverty Reduction through education.
OBJECTIES/ACTIVITIES

To mobilize and organize all women in Nyariga-Doone and its
surrounding communities under one canopy, to
fight the common enemy poverty, illiteracy and ignorance in all forms,
through the support of collaborating
Agencies and Organizations.

To create awareness and advocate for the establishment and
construction of a sole-Girls School to
promote female education and education for all (EFA).

To educate and create access to quality health and education for
all children for future development.
|
 |
Establish a craft development center to enhance group basket
weaving and promote entrepreneurial
training of members on quality control, capacity building and
identify marketing sources.

 |
To establish and operate straw, grains and cereal Bank and
Agro processing centre’s to encourage food
preservation to avoid waste and reduce post harvest loses.

To encourage group and individual savings for wealth creation.

SUSTAINABILITY
The sustainability of the Association and its Vision and Initiative
for Poverty Reduction through Education
(V.I.P.R.T.E) is based on the support of the community and the strong
conviction of the women to improve
upon their livelihoods through their income generating activities.
The Association also enjoys the support
of some NGO’s, Agencies, Institutions and the local authority.
The enrolment of the school is also increasing and encouraging as
parents are sensitized to know the value
of Education especially the Girl Child.
